All-inclusive EMS for Smartpark
For Smartpark, TriPoints not only manufactures and tests the circuit board, but also assembles, installs, packages the product, and ships the wireless lighting control system directly to the end customer. This means the customer does not have to take care of anything extra and can focus entirely on their core competencies.
Task
Since 2019, Smartpark has had a whole range of different modules for wireless transmission in lighting and event technology manufactured by TriPoints in Vienna. What mattered most to Smartpark was that any issues could always be resolved quickly together through direct personal communication. Above all, our prompt component sourcing and efficient PCB optimisation helped convince the customer.
Solution
Right at the beginning of the project, TriPoint’s purchasing team was able to cushion delivery delays involving the main microcontroller by sourcing an alternative component. The optimised circuit board is manufactured, tested, assembled, and installed into the matching housing here in Vienna. Complete with an enclosed manual, the fully packaged devices then begin their journey across the Atlantic directly from our facility to the end customer.
Result
Thanks to the personal support, we at TriPoints were able to build a stable foundation of trust with Smartpark and have now been working together successfully for many years. As a rule, several Smartpark projects are in production at our manufacturing site at the same time, and by now thousands of modules have been delivered in the highest quality and to the customer’s full satisfaction.
