As a result, the innovative startup entered series production with lower unit costs and was able to scale quickly thanks to a flexible industrialization phase.
Task
Initially, small series of several thousand units of the smart insole were to be produced — flexibility was essential, as the product would continue to evolve during agile development.
One major challenge was the miniaturization of the electronics and secure integration of sensor technology, including wireless data transmission.
Solution
We supported stappone throughout the entire process — from on-schedule component sourcing, to SMT assembly of the PCBs, all the way to final assembly.
Thanks to our in-depth expertise, we optimized sensor integration and ensured, through rigorous testing, that the insole delivers precise real-time measurements — while also reducing unit costs.
