With the support of TriPoints, TeDaloS has optimised both its product and its production process for series manufacturing. The close geographical proximity to the EMS provider saves transport costs and enables effective collaboration on equal terms.
Task
TeDaloS wanted to produce sensor units for its IoT warehouse monitoring solution in series. For the first order, the focus was on assembly and optimisation of the production process. Sensors and electronic components needed to be integrated in the manufacturing process in the most time-efficient and error-free way possible. Efficient cable assembly was also an important issue.
Solution
To achieve this, TriPoints went through every single work step and built various assembly aids to increase efficiency further and reduce unit costs. In addition, a new quality assurance process was created in which type labels and serial numbers are applied to the housing and automatically compared with an existing barcode on the PCB.
Result
The collaboration and the quality of the first batch were flawless, and the customer was very satisfied. As a result, the focus has already shifted to producing larger quantities of the IoT warehouse monitoring solution. In this next phase, TriPoints is expected not only to handle final production and assembly, but also to take on the delicate task of sourcing components, which remains challenging internationally.

TriPoints not only manufactures TeDaloS’s IoT warehouse monitoring solution, but also uses it in its own high-bay warehouse at the Vienna 23 site to monitor consumables inventory. That is what true partnership on equal terms looks like.
TriPoints was flexible in the way the process was handled. In the first order, we commissioned the final production of our IoT sensor units and were still able to optimise many aspects during the process itself, such as selecting the right cables or determining the exact placement of the components inside the device. This showed that the partnership is simply a great fit, because TriPoints acts in a very human and flexible way, while at the same time carrying out the tasks with the highest level of professionalism.
